Well, this wonderful news will be a respite for all street food lovers in Indore as FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) has awarded two street outlets in the city with the ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ tag.
The ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ tag was given to ‘Sarafa Bazaar’ and ’56 Dukan’ in Indore for maintaining hygiene standards and cleanliness without compromising on the taste and essence of the delicacies. In fact, this certification can be displayed at the doorstep of the stores.
What’s special about the ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ tag?
The ‘Clean Street Food Hub’ tag is awarded by the FSSAI for maintaining several hygiene and safety standards like demarcation of cooking and non-cooking areas, pest control, and garbage disposal. This certification is valid for two years.
